Sinister Americana.
After several seasons of critically acclaimed collections (think of american all stars, rottweilers, and fierce sharks) Riccardo Tisci continued his romantic reign at the house of Givenchy with a collection filled with signature sweaters and t-shirts that became a fashion phenomenon in the street style scenes all over the world.
Tisci's use of pentagrams, erotic statues, and leather perfectly created a sinister, yet sexy vibe.
It was a homage to the dark side of America. the stars and stripes, the baseball references, the metal accents, and the candles on the runway added some depth to the occult element of the collection.
Haunting and beautiful!
